Quokkas are an iconic marsupial of Western Australia. Described as the world's happiest animals for their charming smile, sweet herbivore nature and willingness to pose for a selfie! They are found on the island of Rottnest, a beautiful island just off our coast.  

I've added some beautiful wildflowers, a cute joey and some native bees to make this whimsical oil painting, an addition to my whimsy series and destined for greeting cards in late February.

Painted in 2023, oil on wood cradle. Varnished and Ready to hang.
