FAQs
Can I commission a painting?
I do accept commissions for pet portraits and occasionally for other genre.
Commissions are very carefully assessed before acceptance.I am very fussy to make sure that both you, the purchaser, and myself, the artist, are fully happy with the final painting.
Please do not feel offended if I turn down a commission request. It may be that I do not feel I will not be able to create the perfect result, wasting your money and my time. It may be that my exhibition diary is full and I do not have the time currently to fulfil a commission.
If you would like to request a commission, please email mehereto begin the process.
What payment system do you offer?
Payments are taken via Paypal or credit card in Australian dollars (AUD). You can select your payment method via the drop down. I do not store your card details.
Is shipping included in my payment?
Do you ship world wide?
I do ship worldwide but for any orders placed outside of Australia, shipping needs to be quoted prior to purchase. Please take a look at my detailed shipping and returns policies here.
How long will it take to receive my order?
My prints are made to order and may take up to 14 business days to process and print and then shipping may take a further 7-14 business days. This is the longest case scenario, it is often quicker than this.
My originals, if they are fully dry and varnished, can be shipped out within 5-7 days.
Due to unforeseen weather events, strikes and world events, there are sometimes unforeseen circumstances that disrupt postal services. Please remain patient and know I am doing my best to get your order to you in a timely manner.
How do you send the prints or artwork?
Packaging your artwork or prints is a serious job!
Small prints are sent flat, protected by special paper and packed flat in rigid card.
Medium and large paper prints are sent rolled, protected by tissue paper, brown paper and then placed into a sturdy postal tube.
Stretched canvas prints and original artworks are sent in made to order solid boxes. They are bubble wrapped for added protection.
For international delivery, it’s most economical to send a rolled canvas, that is an artwork removed from its wooden support and sent in a postal tube. A local framer in your own country, can Re stretch your artwork. International delivery needs quoting prior to purchase. Please email me.
I use Australia Post for items under 100 cms and couriers for larger artworks, with insurance, tracking and a signature required upon delivery at your home.
What is your print quality?
I have taken great care to find the best possible businesses to support my art. I have professional photographers digitalising my art, making sure the colour and capture is as close as possible to the original. I use two Perth based printers for my fine art reproductions, one for my canvas’ and one for my paper prints.
Both printers use archival pigment based inks on professional quality cotton paper and canvas. They are beautiful prints of which I am very proud.
Please note that colours may appear slightly different depending on the calibration of the screen you are using. It’s a good idea to view the image on various devices (iPhone, iPad, desk top) before purchase.
Do you offer change of mind returns?
I do NOT offer change of mind returns on my prints as they are made to order and due to the fragile nature of prints, can get easily damaged with over handling. Please choose carefully.
I will replace prints that have been damaged or lost in transit if there is documenting evidence and photos.
Originals - NOTE : REFUNDS WILL BE MINUS THE ORIGINAL POSTAGE AND HANDLING COSTS and SHOPIFY PROCESSING FEES THAT I INCUR ON EACH SALE. I offer a 7 day return period. All return shipping and transit costs are at the customers expense. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it in. Please see my full Terms and conditions.
If you want to return an original within the 7 day return period, please request a refund via email to start the process.
Once approved, please package the artwork as carefully and securely as it was delivered to you. Return shipping is at your expense.
If you are hesitant about a purchase, please contact me and I can send further photos or information to guide you in your decision. I want you to be happy with your purchase.
