The Magpie And The Finch

This artwork was created a a commission for returning collectors of mine. They already have 5 artworks of mine in their collection and wanted a 'Hero' piece to work in with the others but be extra special with birds, florals and items meaningful to them. 

Over many messages and emails, and with excellent communication, we sketched up an idea and I got to work to create this delightful painting. My clients were extremely happy for me to work at a slower pace and allow the artwork to develop without time constraints. Painted over many months and innumerable hours (I listened to 5 audio books during the painting of this artwork!!) the finished piece is one I am very proud of and my collectors love.
